Over Night or Extended Trip You will Need one of These

It does not matter if you are going for one night or two weeks a good toiletry bag is a must-have. I needed a toiletry bag that would fit and organize all my stuff. Large enough but not so big. So I was shopping for a bag that would fit the bill.

Toiletry Bag Criteria

When I was looking for a toiletry bag there were a few criteria that I wanted:

  • Durable
  • Large enough to hold all my “STUFF” but not too big.
  • Hanging hook that swivels
  • Pockets to hold smaller items

This bag from D&D Wanderlust so far has proven to be a good toiletry bag. I have taken it on two trips. My 10 days to Idaho and Back, which was just me. And my husband and I took it on an overnight trip. On both trips we were able to get all our toiletry items in. Not including my blow dryer and flat iron.

What I like about the D&D Wanderlust

I actually bought two toiletry bags and after getting them both in and comparing them I felt this bag was the better fit for me. Seems to be very durable. Made out of a nylon material so it should be easy to clean if needed.

Swivel Hook

I wanted to be able to hang the bag so to free up counter space. So I felt the Hook was necessary. I also wanted it to be metal for strength and to swivel so it would be easy to hang. Word of caution, do not hang it on a shower curtain. It may pull it down. Yep, that did happen on my first trip 10 Days to Idaho and Back. It made a lot of noise so I suggest hanging it on a hook or towel rack.

Pockets to Hold Smaller Items

There are several pockets to hold and organize your smaller items.

Side pockets are not that big, but do hold smaller items like contact lens holders, Q-tips, razors.

Inside there are elastic pockets to hold items to keep them upright.

I d0 pack several trial size items like shampoo, mouth wash, contact lens solution, and deodorant. But I also have some regular size items lotions, face cleaner, tooth brush, tooth paste. If I can get by with a smaller trial size I do try to use them for space and in case they spill there is less to clean up. As we all know items do shift, break, and open themselves during travel.

I was able to get all the criteria I was looking for in the D&D Wanderlust and so far have been very pleased.

Let’s be honest everyone likes to go on the trip but who really likes to pack? So make it easy to organize, get yourself a good toiletry bag.

What is your must have travel item, that makes your travel easier?

Although I am getting better, I still bring everything but the kitchen sink when I travel. So organization is key for me. I am very impressed with the organization this bag has. Thanks for explaining each compartment so well.
