Atlas:

I LOVE my atlas. Why would you need an atlas with directions on your phone, you may ask.  An atlas allows you to see the BIGGER picture. Looking at the atlas allows you to see alternate routes if there is an obstruction that is sending you in a new direction. Best of all if you are planning a trip it is easier to see what towns around you that you may want to decide to stop at along the way. When we planned our trip to the Biltmore but know we also wanted to go on the Great Smokey Mountain train ride, I used my atlas to figure out where we wanted to stay in between, to feasibly get to both places. I have an unusual attachment and love for my atlas.

Selfie Stick:

Fugetek is the mac daddy of any selfie stick I have ever seen. The first time we used it we had people asking where we got it because it was so impressive. It is compatible with the iPhone and Android smartphone, digital cameras, and GoPro. We have only tried it with the iPhone. Two of my favorite features are the remote control that connects easily to your phones Bluetooth, and the extensions that open easy to adjust the length of the stick. Very sturdy however very lite to carry.  Love it!  Read More about our thoughts on the Fugetek Selfie Stick.

Lawn Chair:

Lawn chairs have changed over the years and for the better.  We find ourselves going to events that usually involve food or at least a drink so it is nice to have a table attached.  Whether it be a concert in the park, wine festival, or a family get together we are always bringing our chairs and we want to be comfortable.   Not as compact as the “bag chair” however they seem to have better support for your back   The Ozark Trail Oversized Directors Chair accommodates up to 500 lbs and has a small side table attached for holding a drink and or plate of food.  This chair is a very large chair for those that are larger this is a very good fit.

Flashlights:

Who does not like a flashlight?  We use these little flashlights at home as night lights.  When we get up during the night we use them so we do not step on Letterman or any other dog that may be visiting.  So we do not have to turn on a light that will wake the other person.  We have these in our cars and especially pack them to go to hotels to use as our personal night light to move around in unfamiliar surroundings.

Toiletry Bag:

D&D Wanderlust toiletry bag fit all the criteria that I needed.  Good size to hold everything, lots of pockets for organization, swivel hook for hanging.  Read more about my new D&D Wanderlust toiletry bag HERE.
